Segment. Modular Typeface
Segment is my first attempt at designing a fully functional typeface, which is why I describe it as experimental.
Created from simple modular blocks of sharp and rounded corners, Segment balances playfulness with structure, combining a sense of character with stability.
Designed in Latin and Cyrillic.
Segment is a simple and straightforward name that reflects something that can be divided or put together from fragments or segments.
Its modular build gives it a steady rhythm. Shaped by repetition and simple structure, Segment conveys a clean, modern feel. Precise, but still full of character.
